Exploring the March Anthropologie Catalog

When I received the March Anthropologie catalog in the mail the other day, my eye was immediately drawn to these few items:

Berry Months Dress.... $148.00
How adorable is this dress? I'm not sure how it would look on me; I have a feeling it would look best on brunettes, but I still love it. And I don't think that this dress needs to be paired with a pair of showstopper shoes; just a basic pair of nude pumps would work.

Kea Pump (from Aldo)... $24.49 (clearance)
Mudd Sophie Heels (from Kohl's)... $49.99
Kutie Knot Platform Pump (from Payless)... $26.99

Antilles Tank... $68.00
I really like how this tank was styled in the catalog. Unfortunately, it's not receiving very many positive reviews online. Most reviewers are complaining that it is boxy and unflattering, but I think that it would probably look best tucked into a pair of pants or skirt, as seen on the model here:

The last item that I really liked was this tank:

This is the Swirlscape Tank in green ($48.00), although it looks more blue to me in the catalog photo.

What were your favorite items from the new catalog? Have you tried on any of these yet? Your opinion?

I HAVE to have these!

Dear Fairy Shoemother;

I have been a really good girl. I have not purchased a new pair of shoes for a year several months now. I take good care of my shoes and love each pair. If you feel as though I deserve it, please send me these shoes (size 8.5).

I will take extra special care of them and wear them as much as possible. I will be eternally grateful and not bother you for anything else for a while.

Thank  you,
Betty

March Old Navy Wishlist: Tops

I cannot wait until spring finally arrives. Especially since we just received several more inches of snow yesterday! Here are some great spring tops (and a jacket!) that I like from Old Navy.

Under $100: Kate Bosworth

Great minds think alike. J (from The Look 4 Less) and I both chose to find more affordable versions of an outfit recently worn by Kate Bosworth, (although J beat me to the punch by posting a day before I did-this one was a scheduled post. J also chose a different photo of this outfit):

We both stuck to the red cable-knit sweater, denim jeggings, buckle boots and brown leather tote bags. You can view J's look here. Here is my look for less. As always, each item is less than $100 apiece:

J's sweater choice is truer to Kate's sweater color, but I think that mine has a more similar texture. What do you think? Whose look do you prefer?

March LOFT Wishlist

A sales alert email in my inbox this morning directed me to the LOFT website where I spent several minutes, with my morning cup of coffee, perusing some great spring looks. Here are some of my favorite items.

Fashion Challenge: Beaded Eglantine Cardigan

This post is rather late as this Fashion Challenge happened a few weeks ago, but here are three looks that I came up with for another What Would Emma Pillsbury Wear Fashion Challenge. For this one, we needed to feature the Beaded Eglantine Cardigan from Anthropologie. Although I created and submitted three looks, only two were featured. Here are all three:

My favorite is the first one. Which is yours?

Own a Piece of Emma

Some lucky duck is going to get to own two of my favorite tops worn by Jayma Mays as Emma Pillsbury on Glee! Both items are currently listed on EBay, and thanks to Nicolle at What Would Emma Pillsbury Wear for tracking down these great finds!

The first top is the Anthropologie's Dusky Dolphin blouse. It is listed as "New Without Tags" and available in size M 8, which would fit me! The current bid is about $24.00 with three days left in the auction. Good luck!

The second top is a TWG cashmere cardigan. It is also size M 8-10 and "New Without Tags". The set price on this one right now is $180.00, (or make an offer), very much out of my price range.

Both are super cute tops, and I wish they were in my closet!

Fashion Inspiration: Reese Witherspoon II

I just realized that there are a whole slew of Polyvore sets that I have not shared yet! Including this Reese Witherspoon inspired look: (I am in love with these boots and that bag!)
