Sixth Day of Christmas: Six Geese-a-Laying
So, I pretty much copped out on this set and only made three separate looks. I was bored and tired and uninspired to create any more. Oh well. Can't win 'em all!

Fourth Day of Christmas: Four Calling Birds
I read somewhere, that today's gift was originally four "colly" birds, which I guess are a type of blackbird? Or a nickname for a blackbird? Either way, I thought I'd stick with the "calling" birds instead.

Third Day of Christmas: Three French Hens
This one isn't very Christmas-y, but I couldn't resist these "Three French Hens" figures and creating a look inspired by them!

First Day of Christmas: A Partridge in a Pear Tree
Ho! Ho! Ho! Merry Christmas, everyone!
I have created a collection based on the Twelve Day of Christmas. Each is unique and inspired by an image that I have found for each day. Enjoy!

Happy Holidays!
I've been a bit remiss in posting these last few weeks, mainly because I've been working more and trying to keep my computer off until nighttime. I don't get anything else accomplished otherwise. I'm headed out of town for the holidays, but plan to get back into the swing of things when I've returned. I've pre-blogged some Polyvore sets, so enjoy those as they are posted.
Happy Holidays to all!

Fashion Challenge: Holiday III
This was my third look that I submitted to the What Would Emma Pillsbury Wear? Holiday Fashion Challenge. This was one of my favorite of the four. It's my version of what a modern Mrs. Claus would wear.

Fashion Challenge: Holiday II
This look was submitted to the Holiday Fashion Challenge at What Would Emma Pillsbury Wear?, although, I did not originally create this one for the challenge. I'm not entirely sure how I feel about this look. It did not turn out as well as I had hoped. I couldn't find exactly the right jewelery that I was picturing in my mind. I do, however, love everything, aside from the jewelery.

Fashion Challenge: Holiday I
This is my first look (of four) that I created for the Holiday Fashion Challenge over at What Would Emma Pillsbury Wear? I wanted to try to pull some of the greens and browns from the candy cane into the look. Not sure how successful the bag choice was in doing so. I also tried to steer clear of getting too literal with the red and white stripes of the candy cane. I'm okay with how it turned out.

Montage Monday-Patterned Preoccupation
I have recently discovered my love for outwear. In a dream world, and if I had the means, I would have one closet for shoes, one for bags, and another for outerwear. It wasn't too long ago when I was ignorant of the importance of a great jacket and it's affect on an outfit. I am slowly learning.
Caught On-Guard Coat-$114.99
I love fabrics and prints that are reminiscent of anything British: tweed; houndstooth; herringbone... This coat has that vibe in volumes.
Dusk Flurries Coat-$124.99
This coat looks so warm! I love the print and the piping detail on the pockets. The wide buttoned collar is an extra bonus!
Sought-After Style Coat-$84.99
Always a sucker for purple, I love the colors in this coat. And I hear that plaid is making its comeback.
A Fresh Coat in Print-$107.99
Now for something a little more girlie. For such a masculine print, I think the ruffles add the right amount of feminine touch to make this coat one of my faves.
Just Around the Block Coat-$229.99
Saving the best, and most expensive, for last. Between the pattern, the (removable) scarf, and the belt, this one is my favorite!

Keep Your Feet Safe!
I am so glad that I am not the only one who does this! This is me to a tee, except that I'm nowhere near 47.

Today I Love....Kim Coates
If you are not familiar with Kim Coates, you should be. He is an an actor on Sons of Anarchy on FX, an awesome show, by the way. It is one of my new favorites, and unfortunately, the season finale was last night! (But don't ask me how it was, because I am totally pre-blogging this a week ahead of time and obviously have not watched it yet).
Granted, Coates is not the best looking actor on SOA, (that honor undoubtedly belongs to Charlie Hunnam who plays Jax Teller), but I am a firm believer that personality, mannerisms, and the way a man carries himself goes a long way in determining how attractive he is. Personally, I think Coates far exceeds Hunnam in that respect, but then again, I've always been more attracted to more offbeat characters, actors, and men in general.
