I've never really explored Banana Republic before. I suppose that I always viewed it as the "preppier" version of GAP, if that's possible. But recently I was on the website and was surprised by some of the clothing items that I came across. They seem to be on par with what is "hot" right now in fashion, including ruffles. It seems as though everyone is selling the same ruffle blouses and shells right now, or at least very similar versions of the same style. I'm okay with that since I like that style, but I'm afraid that it is a trend that is going to get old pretty quickly.
